Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Genetics of Design!

We want you to love your artwork. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer refund and/or exchange within the first 30 days of delivery. If 30 days have passed since delivery, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In unused condition — not hung, mounted, or altered in any way.
  • In the original packaging with all protective materials.
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged in transit. If you need to exchange an item, please contact us at info@geneticsofdesign.art with a photo of the damage and we will arrange a replacement.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are exempt from refunds:

  • Custom commission work (due to the personalized nature of these pieces)
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted for:

  • Any item not in its original condition, or damaged or missing packaging for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received a refund after the processing period, please check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company — it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@geneticsofdesign.art.

Return Shipping

  • Please contact us at info@geneticsofdesign.art before sending a return so we can provide shipping instructions.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

Damaged in Transit

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@geneticsofdesign.art with photos of the packaging and damage. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost.
